This year, the STA Travel UK branch adopted the World Traveler Internship program and will be sending two of their own interns across the globe, in addition to the two interns from the US. For this, STA Travel needed two separate websites, for the UK and the US. The website takes on several forms for different stages of the World Traveler Internship process, the first of which focuses on guiding applicants through the application process. During the application process and after the registration deadline, users are encouraged to visit the website to vote for their favorite applicants until STA Travel has narrowed them down to the final two. When the interns begin their trip, the website shifts focus to the trip itself and follows the interns to each destination while they post videos, blog posts, and photos, and post updates on their Facebook and Twitter accounts.
